On May 7th, 2011 the sixth annual World Superyacht Awards Ceremony took place in London. These awards are considered as the “Oscars” of the superyacht world.

The 69m Atlantic obtained the Judges' Special Award in the category “Best Sailing Yacht in 45m+ size range”. Our congratulations to the owner Ed Kastelein.

MasterShip did the structural design and engineering of Atlantic without changing an inch to the aesthetics of the original lines plan of 1903.

Extensive use was made of the MasterShip Construction software. The digital work resulted in an impressive 3D model, which contained all 3000 parts and stiffeners.
MasterShip also delivered the cut and formed hull plates (80 in total) and all other structural components of the hull to Dutch Shipyard van der Graaf.
