Pipe production design
PLANT (SB3DS) is a powerful 3D plant design tool. It produces all drawings and material lists required for manufacturing and installation. Practical operations such as insert and modify pipes, supports, coamings and accessories will accelerate your engineering process.
PLANT (SB3DS) recognizes ship-specific features. For example, users can position pipes in relation to the ship’s actual structure. The 3D model allows you to take a virtual walk-through of the ship. Hereby you can check the design and detect clashes. Calculation of weights and COG is also possible.
Finally, work packages (pallets) for installation can be produced to organize the work by section and building stage. PLANT (SB3DS) is fully integrated with other MasterShip software. This facilitates working in parallel and sharing all data.
HVAC production design
PLANT (SB3DS) also provides users with a large toolset for modeling of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) systems. HVAC production design is similar to the Pipe production design. Even the most complex ducting can be generated in a short time.
The 3D model allows you to take a virtual walk-through of the ship. Hereby you can check the design and detect clashes.

Cable production design
PLANT (SB3DS) can interactively read out equipment information and cabling information from the electrical system drawing.
Then cable trays including cable brackets can be arranged and routed.
The cables are then allocated to the trays and optimal cable lengths will be calculated automatically.
Various lists of electrical equipment can be made.
All cables, brackets and equipment can be selected to create work packages (pallets) for installation by section and building stage.
Equipment and outfitting
PLANT (SB3DS) also has an extensible library of equipment including engines, pumps and winches.
Existing equipment can be modified and new equipment can be added to the library.
There is also an outfitting module for modeling structural detailing including railings, stairs, tanks and platforms.
All PLANT (SB3DS) modules are database driven. Not only the component definitions are stored in databases but also the 3D model definitions.
This ensures model consistency and facilitates concurrent engineering. Various material take-out reports can be output from the database.
